He has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Horizon and Horizon Bank since July 1, 2001. Prior to that, he was the President and Chief Administrative Officer of Horizon and the Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Horizon Bank commencing in December 1998. He has over 39 years of banking experience, including experience as a senior credit officer, senior commercial loan officer, branch manager, human resources director, and chief executive officer. He has a business degree with a concentration in accounting. Mr. Dwight has served on Horizon’s Board of Directors and the Board of Directors of Horizon Bank since 1998. Mr. Dwight has extensive knowledge and experience in banking, credit underwriting, balance sheet management, liquidity management, finance, accounting and banking rules and regulations. In addition, Mr. Dwight has considerable knowledge of the local business, municipal and not-for-profit communities. Mr. Dwight has served in leadership roles with a significant number of local not-for-profit organizations, including leading several fund raising campaigns.
