Stephen D. Chubb is an Independent Director of Charles River Laboratories International Inc. He is a Special Limited Partner of Catalyst Healthcare Ventures, a venture investment firm specializing in medical devices and diagnostic products, since June 2010. From September 2010 through March 2011, Mr. Chubb served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Allegro Diagnostics, Inc., a privately held molecular diagnostics company focused on the development and future sale of innovative genomic tests for the diagnosis, staging, and guided treatment of lung cancer and lung diseases. Mr. Chubb was previously Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Matritech, Inc., a publicly traded leading developer of proteomics-based diagnostic products for the early detection of cancer, from its inception in 1987 until December 2007. Mr. Chubb served as President and Chief Executive Officer of T Cell Sciences, Inc. and as President and Chief Executive Officer of Cytogen Corp., both publicly traded biotechnology companies. Mr. Chubb also previously served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts and as a director of Caregroup Healthcare System, and currently serves as a director of Amylyx Pharmaceuticals Inc. Mr. Chubb has been a director since 1994. Mr. Chubb brings to the Board a wealth of industry and business expertise, drawing upon his 30-year history as a Chief Executive Officer, president and board member at a variety of public and private life sciences companies.
